About Me

Hey! I’m Eli.

I’m a freelance photographer based out of Chicago, IL. As a child, my mother - also a photographer - would enlist me as her trusted second shooter. She always had a camera nearby, capturing everything from the mundane to the adventures. It made sense I would follow in her footsteps.

Originally from a small town in the middle of Michigan, photography has taken me around the world. From spending summers in Rome capturing archeological sites to traveling the U.S. and finding hidden gems in big cities. I seek to capture memories and special moments anywhere I go.

Live music, portraits, political events, city landscapes - you name it and I’m interested. I go where the action is, but I am especially interested in new challenges. You may have seen my work at Sofar Chicago shows or in Teen Vogue and The Intercept.
